ANACAFÉH

THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COFFEE GROWERS OF HONDURAS, and which is identified with the initials "ANACAFEH", is a permanent civil association, with its own patrimony, non-profit, trade union type that enjoys legal status recognized by the state according to resolution # 60-87, dated May 29, 1987.

 

We are organized into twelve departments and made up of 175 municipal and departmental boards and a national board of directors. Its main offices are located in the city of San Pedro Sula, Cortes and a branch in the city of Tegucigalpa, M. DC.

The General Assembly of Delegates is the highest authority, and will be made up of the board of directors, the court of honor, two delegates for each department and one delegate for each municipal board. The legal representation of the Association is held by the Board of Directors and is exercised through the President.

 

By resolution of the Third Ordinary General Assembly of Delegates held in 2002, it was decided to celebrate the Day of Dignity of the Honduran Coffee Grower, on August 13 of each year, and as the Anniversary of Our Organization, in commemoration of the events that occurred in the Community of Zambrano Francisco Morazán on August 13, 2002.

To be the best organization of coffee producers, with the highest level of participation and recognition in the sector, with integrity values, directly involved in all decisions regarding national coffee growing.

POLICIES

  • Seek the implementation of the national coffee policy.

  • Submit to the interinstitutional committee selection regulations.

  • Participate in national political activity at all levels.

  • Ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of coffee growing.

  • Compliance with the established norms, approved by the National Assembly of Delegates of ANACAFEH.

  • Maintain the organization's self-esteem.

  • Socialize and evaluate the achievements of the organization.

  • Increase in human and material resources depending on financial availability.

  • Avoid discrimination against women.
